It could be because you want to know what your kids are doing on the computer, or if they are browsing to malicious websites, for example. Or maybe you would like to spy on your wife to see if she has an affair. The reasons are endless. A program that can help in this situation is KeyProwler. This is basically a software that can monitor all the keys pressed, opened applications and so on. This way, you will be able to watch all the computer activity.

The program is not difficult to install and supports almost any version of the Windows operating system, including XP and Windows 7. Besides that, it takes up little hard disk space.

When running the program for the first time, a window will be shown, asking the user to set the master password. Without this password, KeyProwler will not be accessible. After doing this, all that's left to do is click on the green button for starting the monitoring process. One can make some adjustments before starting the process. For example, he can configure the program to automatically copy all the computer activities on a USB memory stick, when it's connected to the computer.

KeyProwler can send reports through email at specific intervals of time. This way, the user will know what's been going on with the computer even if he's away. After clicking on the green button, the user can minimize the software. Only pressing the special key combination can make the software's window visible, otherwise it will be completely stealth.

The user can see reports organized according to the computer username and date. Every key pressed will be recorded, together with the name of the application where it was pressed. All or some of the monitored data can be exported as a file for further analysis.
